The Patient Process

Simple, Comfortable and Stress-Free

MBST is one part of a complete rehabilitation plan that includes diagnosis and follow-up reviews, along with guided exercise and hands-on care when needed. Every element is tailored to your needs and combined to create a plan that works for you.

Assessment & Consultation

To get started with MBST you’ll first need to have a consultation with a healthcare professional to accurately diagnose your condition and create a personalised rehabilitation plan.

MBST Sessions

Number of sessions needed

A typical course includes 5 to 10 sessions, depending on the type and severity of the condition. More may be needed for multiple injuries or more complex cases.

Session duration

MBST sessions last for 1 hour, with 1 session per day over five to ten days, and you can relax with music, read, or have a nap while on the device.

Sit back and relax

You’ll stay fully clothed and comfortably settled while the device gently targets the area being treated.

Aftercare / Review Sessions

Aftercare includes at least one review session to check progress and make sure you are improving as planned. If progress appears to be slow, the review sessions will provide insight into how to get you back on track.

Top up sessions

Some patients find that a short top-up course months or years after their initial sessions helps to manage discomfort or maintain joint function. These maintenance courses usually require fewer sessions and may help reduce the recurrence of symptoms. While not everyone will need them, they can be a useful option for supporting ongoing comfort, mobility, and activity levels.

Invest in Your Health

how much does mbst cost?

Your total investment will typically range between £1,000 and £3,000, depending on your individual needs. As every patient is different, you will only pay for what’s right for your situation. We tailor everything to you, including the type of treatment you need, the number of sessions and medical equipment used.

Each MBST UK clinic is independently run, so prices may vary slightly between locations. Costs can depend on things like the clinic setting, team involved, and any additional equipment used to support your recovery.
